Senior Data Architect

You will help shape and mature the architecture within a Data Analytics domain where data, integration, and business needs need to work together over time. In this role, you combine strategic architecture leadership with hands-on design work to create sustainable target states, clear models, and strong governance.

You will work closely with managers, project leads, product owners, and other stakeholders to guide decisions and build long-term architectural capability. A central part of the assignment is also to coach internal team members and strengthen the organization’s own architecture competence. This is a strong opportunity for you who enjoy influencing both direction and execution in a large-scale analytics environment.

• You will establish and develop architecture, information patterns, and integration patterns within the Data Analytics domain.
• You will design data structures, information models, data models, and governance processes aligned with business needs and long-term objectives.
• You will define integration structures and architectural principles that support sustainable solutions.
• You will create, update, and maintain architectural documentation, target states, and integration flows.
• You will contribute to the development of the overall system landscape architecture.
• You will provide architectural guidance to managers, project leads, product owners, and domain stakeholders.
• You will support architectural governance and help ensure alignment with established standards and principles.
• You will mentor and coach internal team members to strengthen long-term architectural capability.
• You will collaborate with relevant stakeholders to support decision-making and long-term development within the domain.

• You have extensive experience working as a Senior IT Architect.
• You have experience within Data Analytics architecture.
• You have strong knowledge of information modelling and data modelling.
• You have a strong understanding of integration architecture and integration design.
• You have experience designing information models, data models, and integration architectures.
• You have experience documenting architecture, target states, and system landscapes.
• You have a good understanding of governance processes and architectural principles.
• You have experience providing architecture advisory services to senior stakeholders.
• You have experience mentoring, coaching, and developing internal team members.
• You can communicate and document complex architectural concepts in a structured manner.
• You are comfortable working across both strategic and operational levels.

• Experience within large-scale Data & Analytics environments.
• Experience with AI agents and agentic systems.
• Experience in enterprise-scale architecture environments.
• A relevant academic degree or equivalent professional experience.
