Senior UX Designer

Nordic Investin has been engaged by a partner company to find a Senior UX Designer. You can turn a complex workflow into an experience that feels obvious without hiding the decisions and constraints underneath it.

The partner is developing a digital product used for important and frequent tasks. You will lead interaction design from discovery through delivery, working with users, product managers and engineers to reduce friction and improve confidence in the complete journey.

Design is embedded in product and service decisions rather than added after scope is fixed. The team expects evidence, accessibility and implementation constraints to be considered from the beginning and revisited after release.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and move between discovery, design, delivery and learning after launch. The partner expects assumptions to be made visible, prototypes to answer real questions and design decisions to remain understandable when they reach engineering and operations.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. Seniority here means broader judgement and follow through, not distance from delivery.

• Frame user problems through research and product context.

• Design flows, information architecture and interaction patterns.

• Create prototypes at the right level of fidelity.

• Plan and run usability testing throughout delivery.

• Collaborate with engineers on feasible, accessible implementation.

• Use product evidence to refine released experiences.

• Strong UX design experience on complex digital products.

• A portfolio showing reasoning as well as final interfaces.

• Advanced prototyping and interaction design skills.

• Experience conducting or using user research.

• Practical accessibility knowledge.

• Professional English and confident cross functional communication.

• Business to business or workflow heavy products.

• Design systems and component libraries.

• Data visualisation or regulated services.

You may come from product design, interaction design, service design or an agency with long term product engagements. We are interested in how you handled constraints, changed direction and measured whether the experience improved.

You will influence both visible interactions and the product decisions behind them. The partner treats UX as a way to reduce risk and create value, not as a final layer applied after scope is fixed.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
