Two tenure track positions in Economics

The Department of Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE) seeks candidates for two tenure-track assistant professor positions. Applicants from any field within economics will be considered (with particular focus on theory, microeconomics and applied microeconomics). The appointments start August 1, 2027, and applicants are expected to have completed their Ph.D. or equivalent degree by then. The deadline for applications is November 16, 2026. Interviews will be conducted online. We intend to interview most applicants in December 2026 around the time of the European Job Market.
