System Engineer, Diagnostics & Dependability

You will take a key role in shaping diagnostic and dependability solutions for future vehicle programs in a complex automotive R&D environment. The work sits close to legislation, certification, embedded software, and system design, where you help turn regulatory requirements into technical solutions that work in practice. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders across development, verification, and supplier interfaces, and your input will matter from interpretation to implementation. • You will lead and secure compliance with future legislated requirements across vehicle programs.
• You will contribute to technical solution design, implementation, and verification to ensure certification requirements are fulfilled.
• You will interpret requirements and legislation together with relevant stakeholders and help translate them into actionable technical work.
• You will drive software implementation and verification activities in close collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.
• You will support certification and broader compliance activities throughout the development flow.

• Experience with legislated diagnostic solutions.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional development activities.
• Experience in embedded software development, preferably using MATLAB/Simulink.

• Knowledge of diagnostic communication protocols.
• Understanding of vehicle diagnostic data.
• Experience in system design and architecture.
• Experience developing technical solutions for in-vehicle cybersecurity.
