Supply Chain Controller

On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Supply Chain Controller. You can translate inventory, capacity and logistics behaviour into financial insight that operations can use.

The partner needs a controller close to supply chain and operational planning. You will analyse cost, inventory and service performance, support forecasts and help leaders understand the financial consequences of sourcing, production and logistics decisions.

Controlling is expected to connect financial results with the operational and commercial drivers behind them. The strongest analysis leads to a clearer choice, an owned action and disciplined follow up rather than another unexplained report.

You will work close to the stakeholders responsible for revenue, cost, projects or operations. The partner expects you to test assumptions, explain uncertainty and translate analysis into a small number of useful actions. Credibility will come from both financial discipline and curiosity about the business.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. Seniority here means broader judgement and follow through, not distance from delivery.

• Analyse material, production, inventory and logistics costs.

• Support operational budgets and rolling forecasts.

• Explain purchase price, volume, efficiency and mix variances.

• Build scenarios for capacity, inventory and sourcing decisions.

• Improve operational measures and financial data quality.

• Partner with supply chain leaders on actions and follow up.

• Business or operations controlling experience.

• Strong understanding of supply chain or manufacturing economics.

• Advanced analysis and financial modelling skills.

• Ability to work with operational systems and imperfect data.

• Confident partnership with planners and operational managers.

• Professional English; Swedish is useful in site based roles.

• Standard costing and inventory accounting.

• SAP or another manufacturing ERP.

• S and OP or integrated business planning.

You may come from plant control, logistics finance, procurement analysis or broader business control. The partner is looking for someone who is curious about the physical flow behind the ledger and can identify which operational change will actually improve the financial outcome.

The role offers daily connection between analysis and action. You will influence decisions on inventory, capacity, service and cost while building a more reliable financial view of the supply chain.
