Senior Test Data & Environment Specialist

Testing works best when data, environments, and quality practices are designed with intention. In this role, you will help build that foundation in a large organization with a complex IT ecosystem, making it easier for teams to test with confidence and deliver better quality.

You will play a key role in strengthening QA capabilities across teams and initiatives. Working closely with developers, testers, product teams, infrastructure, and other stakeholders, you will improve how test data and environments are managed while also contributing to broader quality engineering practices and test strategy. • You will own and evolve the approach to test data and test environments across teams and initiatives.
• You will make sure test teams have reliable, representative, and fit-for-purpose data and environments when they need them.
• You will work closely with developers, testers, product teams, infrastructure, and other stakeholders to remove testability bottlenecks.
• You will contribute to and drive QA initiatives, standards, processes, and best practices across the organization.
• You will help shape overall test strategy and quality engineering practices.
• You will identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and continuous improvement.
• You will take a pragmatic, hands-on approach to solving complex testing and testability challenges.

• You have strong experience in test data management and test environment management.
• You have a broad understanding of software quality and testing.
• You understand modern QA practices and the challenges of testing in large organizations and complex IT ecosystems.
• You are able to work both strategically and hands-on.
• You are comfortable working across teams and influencing stakeholders without formal authority.
• You are used to creating structure, standards, and practical solutions in environments where ways of working may be fragmented.

• Experience working with SaaS, PaaS, and on-prem systems.
• Experience applying Artificial Intelligence and Generative AI to improve QA efficiency.
• Experience provisioning on-demand synthetic test data.
• Experience working with ERP.
• Coding experience.
• Experience with scripting, automation, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, APIs, databases, or other development technologies.
