Senior Technical Project Manager

One of Nordic Investin’s partner companies is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager, with Nordic Investin leading the recruitment process. You can lead a complex technology programme without hiding uncertainty behind a colourful status report.

The partner is delivering a cross functional transformation involving infrastructure, applications, security and external suppliers. You will create a credible plan, surface dependencies early and maintain momentum across technical and business teams.

The work spans organisational boundaries and requires both technical understanding and disciplined communication. Decisions must remain useful when they reach delivery teams, suppliers and operational owners.

You will work across teams with different incentives, technical histories and decision rights. The partner expects concise preparation, visible dependencies and follow through after meetings. Strong performance means that people understand what was decided, why it matters and what they now own.

As a senior colleague, you will own substantial outcomes and help others make stronger decisions. You are expected to recognise risk early, communicate it without drama and move work forward with practical alternatives. The role still includes hands on delivery; seniority here means broader judgement, not distance from the work.

• Build and maintain an integrated delivery plan.

• Coordinate technical, business and supplier workstreams.

• Manage scope, budget, risks, decisions and dependencies.

• Prepare steering decisions with clear evidence and options.

• Lead delivery forums and remove cross team blockers.

• Protect operational readiness, migration and handover activities.

• Extensive leadership of complex IT projects or programmes.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure, applications and security delivery.

• Supplier and contract management experience.

• Evidence of calm risk and dependency management.

• Ability to communicate with engineers and executives.

• Professional English; Swedish is useful in local partner organisations.

• Cloud or data centre migration.

• ERP or Microsoft 365 transformation.

• Delivery across several countries or regulated entities.

You may come from technical delivery, consulting, engineering management or programme leadership. The partner needs someone who can understand the substance of a technical disagreement and move it toward a decision.

The role offers a significant mandate and direct visibility with senior leadership. You will guide a programme whose success depends on disciplined coordination as much as individual technical solutions.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
