The role would involve building and maintaining HIL (Hardware In the Loop) rigs ensuring functionality, performance, and automation of test procedures. It is a position that requires a collaborative person that has strong communication and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities for the role:
• Test Rig Development: Designing, developing, building and maintaining test rigs, for automotive components and systems.
• System Integration: Integrating hardware and software components into the test rig environment.
• Test Automation: Developing and implementing automated test procedures to improve efficiency and reduce manual testing.
• Requirements Analysis: Working with system requirements to define test cases and ensure proper test coverage.
• Performance Optimization: Analyzing test results and optimizing the performance of the test rigs.
• Documentation: Creating and maintaining technical documentation for the test rigs.
• Collaboration: Working closely with other engineers and teams, including software developers, system verification engineers, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills and Experience:
• Expertise: Experience with MAZE HIL systems is highly desirable.
• Automotive Engineering: A strong understanding of automotive systems, including electrical and electronic systems, is crucial.
• Test Method Development: Experience in developing and implementing test methods and procedures.
• Programming/Scripting: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or C++.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment
