Senior Electrical Engineer, Eplan

You will work in an industrial project environment where electrical and automation solutions are developed for complete process plants. In this role, you take ownership of hardware design and turn project needs into electrical drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documentation that support reliable delivery.

• You will handle hardware design assignments independently based on project management direction.
• You will develop electrical and automation engineering solutions for complete process plants.
• You will produce electrical specifications, calculations, hardware specifications for electrical and control panels, and the related technical documentation.
• You will create and maintain electrical drawings and design documentation in Eplan.
• You will contribute to cost-efficient project delivery by optimizing design choices, components and technical solutions.
• You will stay up to date with new technology and tools and bring them into the work when relevant.

• Degree in electrical engineering.
• Some years of experience of technical design within an industrial construction group or a consulting company.
• Experience with electrical design in Eplan.
• Familiarity or proficiency in design and construction of automation cabinets in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of standards and regulations, including European IEC regulations and American and Canadian UL and cUL regulations.
• Familiarity or proficiency in customer projects.
• Familiarity with Siemens and Allen-Bradley components, ABB frequency drives, and commonly used industrial brands.

• Experience working with ATEX zones.
• Familiarity with DeltaV components and B&R components.
