Could you be the full-time Product Cost Engineer (Mechanical) in Västerås, Sweden we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your mechanical engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field.You'll play a key role in driving cost efficiency and competitiveness in our products and you’ll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.

Your mission is to:

• Support engineering in the design of cost competitive solutions
• Assess and suggest alternative scenarios
• Reinforce Procurement supplier negotiation thanks to should cost analysis

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (design, tender, and project teams) with the aim to:

• Challenge design and supplier quotes through detailed cost modelling and benchmarking activities.
• Analyze key cost drivers including materials, manufacturing processes, and supply chain factors, and propose optimized technical solutions
• Establish governance processes and monitor key success factors for design-to-cost initiatives, and much more.

• Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering
