Full Stack Product Engineer

Nordic Investin is recruiting a Full Stack Product Engineer on behalf of one of our partner companies. You like owning a problem from the first user conversation to the production metric that proves the solution works.

The partner is building a digital product in a small cross functional team. You will move between frontend, backend and data concerns, choosing the simplest approach that delivers a strong experience without creating tomorrow’s bottleneck.

The environment will suit someone who enjoys building systems, testing assumptions in code and taking responsibility for production behaviour. Technical choices are expected to be explained in terms of maintainability, reliability and the people who use the product.

You will work in short delivery cycles with direct access to product, domain and operational colleagues. The partner expects engineers to review designs, test assumptions early and follow important changes into production. Decisions should be recorded clearly enough that another engineer can understand the tradeoff months later.

You will receive meaningful ownership while working with senior colleagues on the most consequential decisions. The partner expects you to deliver independently within a clear area, ask for context early and contribute ideas grounded in what you observe. There is room to deepen your specialism or broaden toward adjacent responsibilities.

• Build customer facing features across TypeScript frontend and backend services.

• Work with product and design to clarify user problems before coding.

• Create APIs, data models and integrations that support rapid iteration.

• Instrument features and use real behaviour to guide improvement.

• Strengthen tests, deployment automation and production diagnostics.

• Take part in discovery, planning, delivery and support.

• Three to six years of full stack product development.

• Solid TypeScript and experience with React or a similar framework.

• Backend experience with Node.js, Python, Java or NET.

• Working knowledge of SQL, APIs and cloud deployment.

• Practical testing habits and ownership of production outcomes.

• Clear English and a collaborative working style.

• Experience in an early stage or fast moving product team.

• Feature experimentation and product analytics.

• Interest in AI enabled product capabilities.

You may have started in frontend, backend or product design and deliberately broadened your range. We are looking for good judgement, curiosity and the ability to finish valuable work, not shallow familiarity with every tool.

You will see the direct connection between your code and the user experience. The partner offers a compact decision path, meaningful product influence and experienced colleagues who value thoughtful speed.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional technology if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
