Embedded Function Developer

You will join an automotive development environment where advanced engine control software is shaped for petrol and hybrid powertrains. In this role, you will focus on functions related to aircharge estimation and control, supporting a team that works close to both software behavior and physical system performance.

This is a role for you who enjoy combining theory, modelling and practical validation. You will work in a technical setting where software, electronics and engine knowledge come together, and where your work helps improve how key control functions are developed and verified. It is an exciting opportunity if you want to work hands-on with complex embedded functionality in a forward-looking automotive context.

• You will develop functions in engine control software with focus on aircharge estimation and control.
• You will support testing and validation of embedded functions for petrol and hybrid engines.
• You will work with modelling and implementation in Matlab, Simulink, Embedded Coder and TargetLink.
• You will plan, carry out, summarize and report your work in a structured and thorough way.
• You will combine analytical work with hands-on testing when needed.
• You will collaborate with others in the team to improve function performance and software quality.

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience as an embedded system developer.
• Strong skills in Matlab, Simulink, Embedded Coder and TargetLink.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• You work in a structured way and have strong analytical skills.
• You are able to take initiative and drive your work forward.

• Knowledge of internal combustion engines.
• Theoretical studies in combustion engines, software programming or electronics.
• Experience in SIL testing.
• Programming experience in Python.
• Fluent Swedish, written and spoken.
• Driver’s license for passenger car.
