About the job
You develop innovative and scalable software solutions that bridge digital design and physical manufacturing. Working closely with global teams, you enable smarter and more efficient production through automation and advanced data-driven approaches.
Job responsibilities
- Develop automation solutions that support the journey toward lights-out production
- Translate product requirements into actionable shop floor solutions
- Contribute to methodologies for robust and state-of-the-art software solutions
- Support CAD automation using internal domain-specific languages
- Create seamless automation flows from design to production
- Participate in local and global projects related to new technologies and products
Location
This position is based on-site in Gimo, Sweden.
Your profile
You have a strong foundation in engineering and programming, combined with an interest in manufacturing and industrial processes. Working in a global environment, you communicate effectively in both English and Swedish and enjoy collaborating across teams and disciplines.
Your background includes:
- Experience in programming (e.g. Python, Java, C#)
- Knowledge of engineering, manufacturing or industrial processes
- Familiarity with areas such as CAD/CAM, product development or automation
- Understanding of modern development practices, such as agile methodologies
- Experience working with systems, architecture or data-driven solutions
- K8s and Microservices architecture and development practices
You’re curious and analytical, with a problem-solving mindset that drives continuous improvement. Collaboration comes naturally, and you enjoy working across teams and cultures to turn complex ideas into practical solutions. With a proactive approach, you adapt quickly to new technologies and contribute to a fast-moving, innovative environment.
