Assignment Description

We are looking for a System Test Engineer / Software Test Engineer to join a Solution Architecture & Verification team within R&D.

The role focuses on verifying the quality, stability, robustness, performance and reliability of embedded system solutions. You will work with both manual and automated testing, develop test plans and test cases, enhance test environments and contribute to increased test automation.

Two profiles are being considered: one with a stronger focus on embedded systems and another with more focus on IT applications.

What You Will Work On

• Develop test plans for system releases
• Design test cases based on customer requirements and feedback
• Configure and enhance test environments for increased automation
• Perform manual and automated system testing
• Develop new automated test cases
• Verify system performance, stability, stress and reliability
• Verify system robustness and specification requirements
• Use Python for test automation and verification
• Work with embedded systems and Linux environments
• Document and report test progress and results
• Collaborate with R&D, solution architecture and verification teams
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and automation

What You Bring

• Experience working with automated test environments
• Strong Python skills
• Experience with embedded systems
• Experience creating and executing system test cases
• Experience with manual and/or automated testing
• Knowledge of Linux/open systems
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Knowledge of Selenium
• Experience with JIRA
• Experience with JAMA
• Knowledge of ISTQB principles
• Educational background in Software, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken
• Swedish is advantageous
