Senior Production Engineer – Robotics / Assembly

📌 Role Overview

Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Production Engineer to support the development, optimization, and implementation of assembly operations within an advanced manufacturing environment.

The assignment involves working with both an established production facility and the development of a new manufacturing site. You will collaborate with production teams, line technicians, operators, line managers, and supporting functions to improve processes, resolve technical challenges, and maintain high standards across safety, quality, and delivery.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Improve and optimize assembly processes, production methods, and manufacturing flows.
• Provide technical support to daily production and take ownership of resolving production-related issues.
• Develop and maintain assembly instructions and contribute to PFMEA activities.
• Identify, define, and ensure the availability of appropriate tools and equipment at individual workstations.
• Work closely with line managers and supporting functions to coordinate priorities and production activities.
• Lead and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Support the planning, development, and implementation of assembly lines for a new manufacturing facility.
• Apply structured problem-solving and production engineering expertise to improve efficiency and delivery performance.

🎯 Required Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Production Engineer, preferably within assembly or manufacturing environments.
• M.Sc. in Production Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong background in production engineering, technical problem-solving, and basic project management.
• Practical experience with ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing / World Class Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with PFMEA and production process improvement.
• Structured and proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of improvements and deliverables.
