Om jobbet

Volumental is a FitTech™ company used by footwear brands and retailers, matching people with shoes that truly fit through 3D scanning and machine learning.

Our vision is "a world without sizes, where every body fits." We work with brands like New Balance, Red Wing, Fleet Feet, and Vivobarefoot across 3,000+ stores in 60 countries, with 60M+ foot scans collected, one of the world's largest datasets of its kind.

We are 20+ nationalities based mostly in Stockholm, with colleagues across Europe, the US, and Asia. People & Culture is a team of two (Head of People & Culture + Office Coordinator), and you’ll be our third. We’re small, but our work has real business impact. We strengthen leadership, keep our processes and policies evolving with the business, and foster an environment where people do their best work.

Where you fit in

The foundations are in place. Much of our admin is outsourced, automated, or increasingly handled by AI agents. Managers own day-to-day processes, supported by toolkits and coaching.

We’re now looking for a Senior People Partner to shape what comes next. You’ll look at how we work and make it better: rethinking tooling, building new agents and automations while keeping the human touch, anticipating what the business will need next, and finding new ways for People & Culture to create impact.

This role suits a builder with good judgment. You’ll enjoy making recurring work smaller: automating what should be automated, deleting what shouldn’t exist, and rebuilding what people work around. You’ll also build trust quickly to collaboratively solve problems as we grow.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with managers, using data, business understanding, and trusted relationships, to help them build engaged, high-performing teams.

  • Rethink recurring people work such as onboarding, probation, and development talks. Spot automation opportunities, and prototype solutions quickly.

  • Own and improve our people tooling (HiBob, Teamtailor, and our agents). Extract insights across People processes and use them to improve outcomes.

  • Run our company-wide cycles, such as salary reviews and engagement surveys, using our Manager Academy forum to prepare managers so each cycle runs smoothly.

  • Contribute team-level insights to workforce planning, organization decisions, engagement priorities and compensation decisions.

  • Balance employee experience, operational efficiency, and compliance in the everyday work that keeps everything running.

What you'll need

  • 6+ years of hands-on HR experience across the employee lifecycle, or deep expertise in at least three core areas of it (e.g., performance, compensation, onboarding, employee relations).

  • Experience implementing or redesigning company-wide performance, compensation, distributed workforce, or manager-enablement processes.

  • Experience adding features to or integrating an HRIS (HiBob or comparable).

  • Working fluency with AI tools and agents - you leverage AI tools in your day-to-day work (e.g., drafting, analysis, research) and know when to trust the output and when to check it.

  • A broad understanding of employment law.

  • Fluent English.

How you work

  • You are pragmatic, structured, and enjoy building and iterating systems-level solutions for continuous improvement.

  • You get to the root of complex situations and make difficult people moments feel clear instead of chaotic.

  • You turn recurring questions and team-level signals into useful insights for managers.

  • You work well on your own and with others, and you can influence at every level.

  • You solve problems in the open, asking good questions, sharing your knowledge, and shipping first iterations sooner rather than presenting polished answers later.

  • You see things through, spotting what needs doing without being asked, and making it happen all the way to done.

Bonus - Not required, but nice to have

  • Experience at a tech scaleup, especially an engineering-heavy one.

  • Experience building automations or AI agents, using n8n, Zapier, Apps Script, MCP servers, or similar.

  • Familiarity with Swedish labor legislation.

  • Familiarity with remote work setups.

What we offer

  • Flexible work policy (at least 3 days from the office)

  • An AI-forward team that gives you the tools to work smarter

  • Personal learning budget and access to coaching

  • Occupational pension at ITP1 level

  • Flexible Public Holidays Policy

  • Options Program

  • Parental pay top-up

  • Wellness allowance

This is a full-time position based at our Stockholm headquarters, reporting to our Head of People & Culture. We welcome applicants from all background! If this role excites you but you don’t meet every qualification, we encourage you to apply - we’d love to hear from you.
