Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.

Role Summary

As Senior Manager, Bus Chassis Development, you will lead the development of safe, robust, and efficient chassis solutions that deliver outstanding vehicle performance throughout the product lifecycle. As a member of the Bus Platform Development Management Team, you will be responsible for the Chassis Development section, leading teams within design, simulation, and testing. You will drive the long-term technology roadmap, strengthen platform competitiveness, and ensure the Chassis domain evolves in line with Scania's People Transport Solutions strategy and the broader TRATON organization.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and delivery of competitive chassis solutions that improve performance, durability, modularity, and customer value.
  • Drive engineering excellence by improving quality, efficiency, delivery performance, and cost competitiveness.
  • Build and develop a high-performing organization through capability development, workforce planning, and a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Foster collaboration and platform synergies across Scania, TRATON, and external partners to secure successful end-to-end development and delivery.

Who You Are

You are an experienced leader who thrives in a complex technical environment and enjoys building strong teams and organizations.

  • Extensive leadership experience, including leading managers and working as part of a senior management team.
  • Strong ability to develop high-performing teams, build relationships, and collaborate across functions and organizations.
  • Strategic mindset combined with a structured and hands-on approach to delivering business results.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex challenges and drive continuous improvement.
  • University degree in Engineering or a related technical field, with fluent English communication skills.
