At Business Area Machining, we’re looking for an experienced analyst with a strong pricing background who combines business understanding, technical expertise and a drive to continuously improve how data is used.
About the job
You deliver business reporting, data modelling, and analysis with a strong focus on pricing processes and data. Working across business units, finance, operations and IT, you translate business needs into actionable insights that support strategic planning, performance management and operational excellence.
Job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data models that make accurate information accessible across the organization.
- Act as a subject matter expert in reporting systems, services and analytics.
- Lead cross-functional and cross-regional analyses that inform strategic decisions.
- Improve reporting, modelling, and business processes through automation and standardized ways of working.
- Manage the reporting lifecycle, including data accuracy, access control, and continued relevance.
- Support new systems and services while providing training and clear communication on reporting tools and insights.
Location and flexibility
The position is fully remote, with a flexible location within Europe.
Your profile
You bring experience from business analysis, reporting, or consulting, combined with a strong background in pricing. A relevant university degree, proficiency in English and experience working with data in large, multinational environments are essential.
Your background includes:
- Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, particularly Power BI and Azure-based solutions.
- Experience with reporting and data warehousing solutions, dataset modelling, and dashboard development.
- An understanding of data integration from multiple sources.
- The ability to lead projects and collaborate across functions, regions, and time zones.
- Certifications in data analytics or data visualization are beneficial.
You’re a self-starter who works effectively in a virtual, global setting. With strong communication skills, you make complex information clear and compelling, build productive relationships, and confidently influence others. A customer-focused mindset, critical thinking and curiosity help you find practical solutions and keep improving how work gets done.
