Senior Controls HW/SW Engineering Lead

You will step into a senior role in a global product engineering environment where control systems are key to building and improving advanced intralogistics solutions. The assignment focuses on strengthening ways of working across product lines and locations, while raising technical quality in both PLC software and electrical hardware.

You will be a key technical voice in the organization, connecting product development with project realization and helping turn operational feedback into long-term engineering improvements. This is a strong opportunity if you want to influence standards, toolchains, and engineering direction in an international setting.

• You will act as a subject matter expert in control systems, with focus on PLC software and electrical hardware.
• You will drive harmonization and improvement of product engineering processes and workflows across product lines and locations.
• You will help define and maintain standards and best practices to support consistency, quality, and efficiency.
• You will ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.
• You will define requirements for product development and contribute to the continued development of the engineering toolchain.
• You will mentor colleagues, support knowledge sharing, and help strengthen capabilities within controls product engineering.
• You will initiate and lead global projects and standardization initiatives within controls engineering.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product development and controls software, and secure a strong feedback flow from project realization into product development.
• You will monitor technical trends and innovations and align them with strategic goals.

• You have a relevant degree, for example in electrical engineering or automation engineering.
• You have professional experience from similar roles.
• You have strong knowledge of control systems, including PLC software and electrical hardware.
• You are comfortable driving improvements in engineering processes, workflows, and technical standards.
• You have the ability to define requirements for product development and engineering tools.
• You work well across cross-functional and international teams.
• You have solid project and time management skills and can handle several parallel activities.
• You have a solution-oriented and proactive way of working, combined with a strategic perspective.
• You are willing to travel occasionally between different locations.
