Senior AI Engineer

You will join an AI and Data Science environment where the focus is on turning advanced analytics into robust production solutions. In this role, you will design, build, deploy, and operate AI applications across a wide range of use cases, from traditional machine learning to generative AI and agent-based systems.

You will work close to Data Scientists, Data Engineers, and business stakeholders to turn ideas, prototypes, and requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. The role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data engineering, cloud development, and MLOps/LLMOps, with a clear focus on making AI reliable in production.

A central part of the assignment is to help shape how AI solutions are developed and managed in a modern Google Cloud Platform environment. You will also contribute to the tooling, infrastructure, and engineering practices needed to support AI products at scale. • You will design, develop, deploy, and operate production-grade AI solutions across machine learning, generative AI, and agent-based use cases.
• You will translate analytical and business needs into secure, scalable, and maintainable applications ready for real-world use.
• You will work closely with Data Scientists to turn prototypes, models, and concepts into production-ready solutions.
• You will help build and improve the platform capabilities, tooling, and infrastructure that support AI development and operations.
• You will drive MLOps and LLMOps practices such as automation, CI/CD, version control, monitoring, and observability.
• You will develop and manage cloud-native solutions in Google Cloud Platform.
• You will work with Infrastructure as Code and container-based environments to enable efficient deployment and operations.

• Master's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.
• Strong software engineering background with excellent programming skills in Python.
• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and operating production-grade AI solutions.
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with MLOps and/or LLMOps practices, including CI/CD, version control, automation, monitoring, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to work closely with Data Scientists and translate prototypes, models, and AI concepts into production-ready solutions.

• Experience with Vertex AI or similar AI/ML platforms.
• Experience building Generative AI applications, RAG solutions, AI assistants, or agent-based systems.
• Experience integrating LLMs with enterprise tools, APIs, data platforms, and business processes.
• Experience developing tools, services, or platforms that enable AI agents to interact with enterprise systems.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments with high requirements on security, reliability, and governance.
