Join our team
The Regional Transportation function is responsible for sourcing, managing, and optimizing transportation solutions across the EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) region. Our mission is to ensure cost-efficient, high-quality, and reliable transportation services that support Epiroc's global operations and business objectives.
Your mission
You will play a key role in developing and optimizing transportation solutions across the region. Working closely with internal stakeholders and transportation providers across multiple countries, you will combine strategic sourcing, supplier management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support efficient, reliable, and cost-effective transportation services.
Your responsibilities include:
- Procuring transportation solutions at local, regional, and global levels.
- Driving transportation optimization initiatives in close collaboration with internal stakeholders and logistics providers.
- Leading continuous improvement activities focused on process efficiency, service performance, and cost reduction.
- Ensuring standardized ways of working and established procedures are followed while promoting greater use of digital and systematic solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with transportation providers and business stakeholders.
Your profile
You are an open-minded and solution-oriented professional with strong analytical skills and a drive to continuously improve the way things are done. You enjoy working across functions, cultures, and organizations, building strong relationships and collaborating to achieve common goals. Comfortable working independently, you take ownership of your responsibilities, make well-informed decisions, and confidently manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
Your background
- Relevant education and/or experience within transportation, logistics, supply chain, procurement, or a related business area.
- Experience working with transportation providers, freight forwarding, transportation management, supplier management, or procurement activities.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. Swedish is considered an advantage.
Location and other
This position is located in Örebro or Fagersta. We offer a hybrid work setup with the possibility to work from home to some degree. This role requires occasional international travel.
