Om jobbet

The Education Office (EdO) is one of SSE’s Professional Services units and consists of around 58 colleagues. As a central part of the SSE journey, we support and develop key academic services for students and stakeholders across our BSc, MSc, and PhD programs. Our work spans assessment, program management, scholarships, international collaborations, academic support, central course and exam coordination, as well as degrees and certificates.

About CIVICA

CIVICA – The European University of Social Science- is since 2019 a European Universities Alliance funded under the Erasmus+ program, aimed at implementing and developing new forms of partnerships with nine other European universities in the field of social sciences. As the CIVICA Manager, your role is twofold (1) to be the main liaison and actor for SSE’s activities internally and towards the CIVICA network (2) to lead the exploration and preparation work to transform the CIVICA Engage Track into a European Joint Bachelor’s degree.  The ambition is to prepare the ground for a future European Bachelor’s Degree (label). If the initiative is successful, a program manager will be recruited in the future.

SSE is one of CIVICA’s founding members with Sciences Po (the alliance coordinator, France), Bocconi (Italy), The London School of Economics and Political Science (United Kingdom), Central European University (Austria and Hungary), European University Institute (Florence), Hertie School (Germany), National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (Romania), SGH Warsaw School of Economics (Poland) and IE University (Spain).

Since 2019, CIVICA members have jointly developed innovative activities in education, research, outreach and civic engagement; the alliance is currently in the process of developing its long-term vision and inscription in the European Degree landscape.

We offer you a management role in the CIVICA project, an international and effervescent environment, at one of the top business schools in Europe. • Be part of several work packages to guarantee progress of SSE’s CIVICA operations, including WP1, governance,
  • Hosting and leading in-person and online meetings internally and externally.
