Project Manager – EPCM Industrial Projects
Are you an experienced industrial project leader ready to align and coordinate technical disciplines toward a common goal? Do you want to be part of Sweden’s most exciting industrial ventures driving the green transition? Then we want to hear from you. We are expanding our team of EPCM Project Managers at COWI. Join us and take part in complex investment projects from idea to execution – often as the EPCM provider – where you’ll help shape the future of sustainable industry.
We work where the future of industry is taking shape
Combining deep technical expertise and project management excellence, we deliver end-to-end solutions – from feasibility studies and FEED to detailed design and support during construction and commissioning. Our key markets include refineries and petrochemicals, energy, water treatment, and the forest industry – sectors where the demand for sustainable solutions drives innovation and transformation. Our project methodology is rooted in PMBOK, with structured approaches to cost estimation, risk management, and multidisciplinary coordination following the EPCM modal.
Your role – Leading industrial EPCM projects
As a Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering value to our clients – often working on site or in close collaboration with their project teams. You’ll lead projects across all phases: from planning, procurement, and design to implementation and handover. Your responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating multidisciplinary EPCM projects in accordance with contracts
- Ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the agreed quality
- Planning resources, tracking financials, and managing deviations
- Communicating effectively with all project stakeholders – both internal and external
- Managing risks, opportunities, and changes throughout the project lifecycle
- Working closely with clients and internal COWI experts in engineering, procurement, and construction
Locations: Stenungsund and Gothenburg
