What you’ll do
Right now, we are looking for a Project Cost Controller for our Project Controls team. In this role you will sit within our Project Delivery function and support cost control activities within an assigned project area.
As Project Cost Controller, you will work closely with Project Managers, Area Managers, EPCM partners, Finance, Procurement, Planning, and the wider Project Controls team. You will help ensure that project costs are accurately tracked, forecast, and reported, providing reliable financial information to support project execution and decision-making.
Specific to this role, the day-to-day tasks will include the following but as we are a growing company with very little silos between teams, other tasks might be included as well.
Support cost control activities within an assigned project area, ensuring alignment with approved budgets and project objectives
Review and analyze cost reports, forecasts, commitments, accruals, and change orders from EPCM contractors and suppliers
Prepare cost forecasts, variance analyses, cash flow information, and monthly reporting
Monitor project cost performance and identify trends, risks, opportunities, and deviations
Work with Project Managers, Area Managers, Finance, Procurement, Planning, and EPCM partners to ensure accurate cost information
Support change management activities and assess the cost impact of project changes
Maintain project cost reports, dashboards, and supporting cost control documentation
Contribute to reliable and transparent project reporting throughout the execution phase

Specific to this role, we would like to see that you can tick off a fair amount of the boxes below
3+ years of relevant experience in project cost control, project controls, commercial project support, or a similar role
Experience from industrial, construction, infrastructure, or EPCM project environments is considered an advantage
Relevant degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Project Controls, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Good understanding of project budgets, forecasting, cost reporting, and change management
Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and deviations in project cost data
Experience using Excel, cost control systems, reporting tools, or similar project controls software
Good understanding of project delivery processes across engineering, procurement, and construction
Strong communication and collaboration skills with fluency in English; Swedish is considered an advantage
