Product owner / Electrical Engineer – R&D

We at A-hub are currently looking for a Technical Product Owner for an exciting consulting assignment within Research & Development.

You will be working on-site at one of our clients – a global technology company within electrification, automation, and advanced mobile machinery.

The role is suited for someone with a background in electrical engineering or hardware development who wants to take a broader role in product development and technical coordination.

You will be part of a highly skilled and collaborative R&D organization working with advanced mobile machines, electrical systems, electric drivetrains, and control systems.

In this role, you will work with product ownership within hardware and electrical systems development. You will help translate product and customer needs into technical priorities and work closely with engineers, specialists, suppliers, and other stakeholders throughout the development process.

You will not primarily work with detailed electrical design. Instead, your technical background will enable you to understand the solutions, ask the right questions, support technical decisions, and keep development moving in the right direction.

• Driving and prioritizing development activities within electrical systems and hardware

• Translating functional and customer needs into technical requirements

• Collaborating closely with engineers, specialists, and other Product Owners

• Supporting development projects, product maintenance, and customer-driven adaptations

• Working with suppliers and internal stakeholders across different functions

• Contributing to technical decisions from a product and system perspective

• Participating in large, complex development projects in a global environment

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related technical field

• Several years of experience within electrical systems, hardware development, or similar technical areas

• Experience from industrial product development and complex technical projects

• Experience coordinating technical work across different functions and stakeholders

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, System Engineer, Lead Engineer, Technical Project Manager, or similar is considered a merit

• Collaborative and communicative

• Structured and able to set priorities

• Comfortable taking ownership and driving work forward

• Able to understand technical details while keeping a broader product perspective

• Comfortable working with different stakeholders in a global environment

Since the role includes both local and global contacts, you need to be fluent in English, both spoken and written. Swedish is considered an advantage.

This is a consulting assignment where you will be employed by A-hub and working at our clients site. The assignment is long-term, with good possibilities for extension or permanent employment with the client over time.
