Product Designer

On behalf of a partner company, Nordic Investin is looking for a Product Designer. You enjoy carrying a product problem from rough hypothesis to an interface that is useful, coherent and ready to ship.

The partner is growing a digital product and wants design to be embedded in product decisions. You will work across discovery, interaction and visual design, staying close to engineers and customers as ideas become production features.

Design is embedded in product and service decisions rather than added after scope is fixed. The team expects evidence, accessibility and implementation constraints to be considered from the beginning and revisited after release.

You will join a multidisciplinary team and move between discovery, design, delivery and learning after launch. The partner expects assumptions to be made visible, prototypes to answer real questions and design decisions to remain understandable when they reach engineering and operations.

As a specialist, you will own a defined professional area and be trusted to move work forward independently. You are expected to recognise when a question requires wider expertise, explain recommendations clearly and improve the methods or tools used by colleagues around you.

• Explore user and business problems with product colleagues.

• Design end to end flows and polished interface states.

• Prototype alternatives and test them with users.

• Apply and evolve shared design system components.

• Work with engineers through implementation and quality review.

• Use analytics and feedback to improve released features.

• Several years of product or UX design experience.

• Strong interaction and visual design craft.

• A portfolio demonstrating complete product decisions.

• Advanced Figma or equivalent prototyping skills.

• Understanding of responsive and accessible design.

• Professional English and collaborative communication.

• Experience in SaaS or self service products.

• Design system contribution.

• Experimentation and product analytics.

You may have specialised in UX, UI or digital product design before broadening your ownership. We value a clear point of view, but also the ability to change it when user evidence, technical constraints or product priorities point in a better direction.

You will see the connection between your decisions and real product behaviour. The partner offers experienced peers, direct customer insight and space to improve both individual features and the product language around them.

The exact partner, employment model, compensation, start date and working arrangement will be explained openly during the process. Nordic Investin will make sure you understand the context, expectations and decision path before you are asked to commit significant time.

During the process, Nordic Investin will focus on concrete decisions you have made: the context you received, the alternatives you considered, the result you observed and what you would change today. You do not need every optional credential if your core experience transfers and you can explain how you would close the gap.
