Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for an experienced Product Cybersecurity Specialist for a technical consulting assignment within the automotive and commercial vehicle industry.

🔧 About the Role

You will join a central Product Cybersecurity team supporting vehicle development projects and future vehicle programmes. Working closely with engineers and project managers across international teams, you will provide technical guidance, assess cybersecurity risks, define requirements, and help ensure that security is integrated throughout the product development lifecycle.

The role combines hands-on cybersecurity analysis with technical reviews, compliance support, security testing, and collaboration across multiple engineering disciplines.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Perform cybersecurity activities, including Product Cybersecurity Screening (PCS), Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA), and cybersecurity requirements management.
• Support the development of cybersecurity requirements and supplier cybersecurity agreements.
• Provide technical guidance on secure design for vehicle systems and embedded components.
• Review and assess cybersecurity work products produced by development teams.
• Define security testing activities and support mitigation planning.
• Support cybersecurity verification and validation activities.
• Contribute to cybersecurity approval and compliance activities related to UN R155.
• Coordinate penetration testing and follow up on identified vulnerabilities and corrective actions.
• Coach engineering teams on cybersecurity methodologies, processes, and best practices.
• Contribute to improvements in cybersecurity tools, methods, and processes where appropriate.

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Several years of professional experience in Product Cybersecurity.
• Hands-on experience conducting Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA).
• Experience defining, documenting, and managing cybersecurity requirements.
• Broad technical understanding of embedded and connected systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication and connectivity technologies, including CAN, Ethernet, and Bluetooth.
• Experience in technical security domains such as:
• Cryptography and Hardware Security Modules (HSM).
• Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and TLS.
• Network segmentation and security monitoring.
• Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance to cross-functional engineering teams.
• A structured, proactive approach to cybersecurity risk assessment and mitigation.

⭐ Nice to Have

• Knowledge of automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations, particularly ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155.
• Experience working within a Product Cybersecurity Management System (PCSMS).
• Experience implementing cybersecurity processes within an automotive OEM or similar vehicle manufacturer.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity verification, validation, penetration testing, and supplier security assessments.
• Experience working with international engineering teams and complex vehicle development programmes.
