Om jobbet
Wibe Group is an international industrial organization with approximately 400 employees and operations across Sweden, India, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark and Malaysia. The company is now strengthening its project organization with a new leadership role based in Mora.
Wibe is looking for a
PMO MANAGER
Are you an experienced project leader who enjoys combining hands-on project delivery with the opportunity to build structure, governance and shared ways of working?
Why you should choose Wibe
As PMO Manager at Wibe, you will play a key role in strengthening how projects and strategic initiatives are planned, prioritized and delivered.
This is a broad and influential position. You will lead the project management team in Mora while personally driving larger and more complex projects. The project portfolio includes product development and industrialization initiatives, primarily connected to operations in Mora and the Netherlands. You will have the opportunity to establish a common platform, develop consistent project processes and help the organization turn strategic priorities into measurable results.
What we offer
A role with significant ownership, clear business impact and the opportunity to shape Wibe’s future project management capability. You will work in an international industrial environment and collaborate closely with leaders, project managers and stakeholders across the organization.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and develop the project management team in Mora
- Personally plan, lead and execute selected larger projects end to end
- Create common project standards, templates and stage-gate governance
- Strengthen portfolio visibility, prioritization and resource coordination
- Support project managers with planning, scheduling, decision forums and escalation
- Develop reporting of status, budgets, risks, issues and KPIs
- Drive continuous improvement in project methods, tools and training
About the role
As PMO Manager, you are responsible for effective planning, governance and delivery across Wibe’s project portfolio. The role combines leadership, operational project execution and governance. You will create structure and shared working methods while ensuring that projects remain aligned with business objectives.
You will manage three project managers in Mora, with different levels of experience, and provide clear leadership that brings the team together. An important part of the assignment is to establish consistent project processes and ways of working, including the use of project management systems such as Smartsheet.
Your responsibilities include maintaining project standards and documentation quality, monitoring priorities and resources, supporting project managers, coordinating changes and mitigation activities, and escalating risks, issues or resource constraints when required. You will also facilitate governance reviews and recommend improvements to strengthen project delivery.
The position is based in Mora and reports to the Operations Director. Travel connected to projects and collaboration with other Wibe locations may be required.
What we are looking for
We are looking for an experienced and confident leader with a strong background in project management and project governance. You are comfortable taking responsibility for both people and delivery, and you are motivated by creating clarity, consistency and momentum in an organization with several parallel initiatives.
We believe you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, project management or another relevant field
- Experience from project management, PMO or operations, preferably in a manufacturing, industrial or corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience of project governance and establishing project processes
- Leadership experience and the ability to develop a team with varying levels of seniority
- Experience of leading larger or complex projects from planning through execution
- Strong organizational, analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management or reporting tools; experience with Smartsheet is an advantage
- The ability to manage several projects and priorities simultaneously
- A hands-on approach and the willingness to lead projects directly, not only oversee and report on them
- You communicate effortlessly in both Swedish and English, verbally as well as in writing.
Who you are
You are structured, results-oriented and clear in your leadership. You build trust, create alignment and communicate expectations in a way that helps people move forward together. You combine a strategic perspective with operational drive and are comfortable making decisions, challenging established ways of working and turning ideas into practical improvements.
Employment
This is a permanent, full-time position based in Mora. Starting date by agreement.
