OT Security Operations Engineer

You will help strengthen OT cybersecurity across industrial production sites where uptime, safety, and secure operations are equally important. In this role, you work closely with factory teams, OT security specialists, engineering teams, and operational stakeholders to turn security requirements into practical measures that work in real environments.

The assignment combines operational OT security, risk and compliance, security implementation, threat modelling, and support for local development and project teams. You get to bridge strategy and execution in a setting where your work has direct impact on daily operations. It is an interesting opportunity if you want to shape cybersecurity where digital and physical production environments meet.

• You support manufacturing sites in implementing and improving OT security practices.
• You coach OT Security Superusers and factory teams in secure OT operations and practical cybersecurity best practices.
• You perform and support OT cybersecurity risk assessments, gap analyses, and verification of security controls.
• You assess security posture against IEC 62443 and internal security requirements, and help plan remediation activities.
• You support hardening, secure configuration, and integration of security controls in industrial systems.
• You work closely with engineering and OT teams to promote secure system design and ensure cybersecurity is considered early in development and project work.
• You contribute to threat modelling and risk-based decision-making for changes and proposed OT solutions.
• You track security posture, identified risks, remediation work, and improvement actions, and translate technical risks into clear business impact.

• Hands-on experience working with OT security or ICS security in industrial environments.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity across manufacturing or production sites.
• Strong understanding of IEC 62443 and OT security principles.
• Experience performing OT risk assessments and gap analyses.
• Experience with threat modelling and risk-based security decisions.
• Experience implementing and verifying cybersecurity controls.
• Experience with system hardening and secure configuration of industrial systems.
• Experience working closely with OT, engineering, automation, or manufacturing teams.
• Ability to translate cybersecurity requirements into practical measures within operational environments.
• Strong understanding of the differences between IT and OT security requirements and operational constraints.
• Ability to explain technical security risks to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A drug test needs to be performed before assignment starts

• Experience with ICS or SCADA security.
• Experience with industrial networks, OT asset management, and network segmentation.
• Experience with secure remote access, endpoint security in OT environments, and vulnerability management.
• Experience with security monitoring and OT incident response.
• Experience with secure system design and security architecture.
• Knowledge of NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 27001, and security governance.
