Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

You will join a technically advanced environment within the automotive industry, where new and rebuilt production equipment must be reliable, maintainable, and ready for long-term operation. In this role, you bring maintenance expertise early into the development process and help shape how equipment is designed, reviewed, accepted, and supported in production.

You will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to make sure maintenance strategies, standards, and technical requirements are built in from the start. This is a great opportunity if you want to influence equipment quality upstream and contribute to a structured, high-quality manufacturing setup.

• You will work closely with suppliers to ensure reliability and maintainability strategies, standards, and specifications are met.
• You will take part in concept and design reviews to verify that solutions align with agreed reliability and maintainability technical specifications.
• You will prepare and perform mechanical inspections during delivery acceptance.
• You will drive preparations for spare parts and ensure spare and wear parts are available in stock.
• You will create preventive maintenance plans and instructions for mechanical maintenance, including operator maintenance activities.
• You will secure the quality and completeness of maintenance documentation.

• Very good knowledge of maintenance practices and processes.
• Good knowledge of reliability and maintainability in projects.
• Experience in mechanical engineering and project work.
• Experience of concept and design reviews linked to reliability and maintainability technical specifications.
• Experience of setting up preventive maintenance plans.
• Experience in spare part engineering.
• Experience in structuring equipment documentation.
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
