The opportunity
You will be part of HVDC Service within Hitachi Energy in Ludvika, leading our Warranty & Post-Warranty Service organization. In this role, you will be responsible for a global team delivering operational excellence and customer support throughout the warranty and post-warranty phases of our HVDC projects worldwide.
HVDC technology has been used for more than 60 years to transmit electrical power over long distances with minimal losses. As the global energy transition accelerates, HVDC plays a critical role in enabling renewable energy integration, strengthening power grids, and supporting sustainable energy systems worldwide.
As Manager for Warranty & Post-Warranty Services, you will have a unique opportunity to lead a growing business, develop a high-performing international team, and contribute to some of the world's most advanced power transmission projects.
How you’ll make an impact
- As Manager, you will lead our Warranty & Post-warranty Service department and be responsible for operational and strategic management of warranty and post-warranty services of HVDC projects worldwide.
- An important part of your job will be to inspire, coach and develop your team of project
- You will also provide operational and strategic support to our local service centers

Your Background
- First and foremost, you are a confident leader with the ability to strike a balance between strategic, tactical and operational tasks, ensuring they are in line with our business’s local and global priorities.
- Furthermore, with your great collaborative and communicative skills, you thrive in a multi-cultural environment, where you can inspire your team to great performance.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering and have a minimum 10 years experience working in the power sector, out of which a minimum of three years as line or project manager. HVDC or FACTS projects will be an advantage.
- You should be fluent in English - written and spoken. Proficiency in Swedish language will be an advantage.
