The opportunity

Join Hitachi Energy and our Network Control Business Line in a strategic leadership role where you will drive Quality excellence and Continuous Improvement. Network Control is a world leader in innovative software solutions for managing electricity transmission and distribution. You will lead the Quality and CI function in a multifaceted Software organization, develop a strong quality culture, champion the Voice of the Customer, and ensure sustainable operational performance through governance, systems, processes and people development.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Lead and develop the Quality and Continuous Improvement function including capability development and succession planning.
  • Establish, maintain and continuously improve the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with standards and customer expectations.
  • Act as the customer advocate by driving Voice of Customer processes and ensuring effective response to feedback and quality concerns.
  • Manage audits, certifications, corrective actions and preventive actions across the Operating Unit.
  • Drive data-driven quality performance, risk management and process excellence initiatives.
  • Lead Continuous Improvement deployment using Lighthouse, Lean Six Sigma, Ochibo-Hiroi and Lessons Learned methodologies.
  • Partner with R&D, Operations, Projects, Technology and Supply Chain teams to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Define, monitor and improve KPIs related to quality, customer satisfaction and operational excellence.

Your background

  • University degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Solid experience in Quality Management, Continuous Improvement and operational leadership, preferably from an industry grade software organization
  • Knowledge of ISO standards, quality systems, auditing and certification processes.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, business process management and systematic problem solving.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management and change management capabilities.
  • Ability to influence across functions and drive engagement at all organizational levels.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in risk management and performance monitoring.
