Are you a passionate Front-end Developer with strong expertise in React and TypeScript? Do you enjoy building modern, responsive, and accessible web applications while taking ownership of features from initial requirements through production?

Hykmann Global Business Solutions AB is looking for a Professional Front-end Developer to join a digital product development team focused on delivering high-quality customer-facing digital services.

About the Role

You will develop and maintain customer-facing features for a modern digital portal, taking end-to-end ownership of front-end solutions — from requirements clarification and UX collaboration to implementation, testing, release, production monitoring, and continuous improvement.

Working closely with Product Owners, UX designers, backend developers, and other engineering colleagues, you will contribute to front-end architecture, reusable components, application performance, and overall user experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, accessible, and user-friendly web applications using React and TypeScript.
• Own front-end features throughout the complete development lifecycle, from requirements to production.
• Build reusable, secure, maintainable, and well-tested UI components.
• Integrate front-end applications with REST and GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to front-end architecture, state management, and technical design decisions.
• Develop and maintain unit, component, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Improve application performance, accessibility, browser compatibility, observability, and reliability.
• Deploy, monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve applications in production.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, UX designers, backend developers, and engineering teams.
• Participate in constructive code reviews and share technical knowledge with colleagues.
• Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly, validating generated outputs for quality, security, accessibility, and maintainability.

Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience independently delivering front-end features in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with modern front-end architecture, reusable component design, and state management.
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs and managing asynchronous application flows.
• Practical knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, package management, and front-end build tools.
• Experience with automated testing using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Understanding of web accessibility, responsive design, browser compatibility, performance optimisation, and front-end security.
• Ability to interpret Figma designs and collaborate effectively with UX designers.
• Experience working in Agile product teams using Scrum or Kanban.
• Strong ownership, analytical problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

• Experience with design systems and component libraries.
• Knowledge of Node.js, server-side rendering, or micro-frontend architecture.
• Experience with WebSockets, event-driven user interfaces, or real-time applications.
• Experience with AWS, observability tools, or cloud-hosted web applications.
• Knowledge of clean architecture, reusable design principles, and front-end performance optimisation.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q, Kiro, MCP servers, or AI agents.
• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Interaction Design, or equivalent practical experience.
