The Position At Toyota Material Handling Europe, we are accelerating our journey towards a more integrated and agile European R&D organisation through our One R&D transformation. We are now strengthening the financial support to our European R&D organisation and looking for a Financial Control Manager to join our Shared Service Centre in Mjölby. In this role, you will work closely with senior leaders across R&D and Finance, helping the organisation understand performance, make informed decisions, and achieve its business objectives. You will be responsible for financial planning, follow-up, reporting, and analysis for a complex and international R&D environment. The position offers broad exposure across the organisation and extensive interaction with colleagues in Sweden, France, Italy and other parts of Europe. As our R&D organisation continues to develop, you will play an important role in strengthening financial governance, transparency and performance management. You will report to the Director of the Shared Service Centre. Over time, the role is expected to include people management responsibility within the finance area. Your Responsibility In this role, you will play a key role in supporting our European R&D organisation through financial planning, reporting, analysis and performance management. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Act as the finance business partner to key stakeholders within the European R&D organisation. Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes. Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to management. Support decision-making through business cases, financial evaluations and ad hoc analyses. Develop reporting, KPIs and management information to improve transparency and performance follow-up. Ensure sound financial control of development costs, projects, investments and related financial processes. Identify risks, opportunities and improvement areas, and support the organisation in taking appropriate actions. Collaborate with Finance colleagues and business stakeholders across multiple European locations. Contribute to the continuous development of financial processes, tools and ways of working.

Your Profile We are looking for a senior finance professional who combines strong financial control, business partnering, and stakeholder management skills with a proactive mindset, a high level of personal accountability, and the ability to work independently while engaging stakeholders across the organisation. What you'll bring to this role is likely: Experience from business controlling, financial controlling, FP&A, or a comparable finance position. Strong capabilities in financial planning, performance management, reporting, and business analysis. The ability to translate financial information into clear recommendations and decision support for management. Experience working with and influencing stakeholders across organisational and geographical boundaries. A structured, analytical, and proactive approach, combined with a genuine interest in supporting business performance and continuous improvement. A university degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Fluent in Swedish and English language.
