Job Description

As an Expert Technical Writer, you will drive the overall content strategy and quality standards across multiple repositories, ensuring alignment with established guidelines and long-term documentation goals. You’ll act as a trusted subject matter advisor for documentation practices, partnering with contributors and stakeholders to elevate content quality, improve consistency, and shape how technical knowledge is communicated to users. You will lead content reviews, define best practices, mentor contributors, and identify opportunities to improve documentation processes and governance. Your work will ensure that all content is clear, scalable, user-focused, and aligned with the needs of both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you’ll do

• Lead and drive content reviews across multiple repositories with exceptional attention to detail.
• Establish, evolve, and advocate for documentation standards, style guides, and best practices to maintain consistent content quality at scale.
• Translate complex technical information into clear, structured, and user-focused content tailored to different audiences.
• Own and improve documentation governance processes, ensuring adherence to content guidelines and identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Partner with senior technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams to gather information, align on documentation priorities, and support high-impact initiatives.
• Mentor and support contributors by providing thoughtful feedback, coaching, and guidance on writing quality and content structure.
• Identify content gaps, inconsistencies, and usability issues, proactively driving improvements across the documentation ecosystem.
• Handle a variety of complex content-related queries and documentation challenges.
• Collaborate transversally with other teams to strengthen knowledge-sharing practices and improve the overall documentation experience.

• Exceptional writing, editing, and content structuring skills in English.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to provide constructive and actionable feedback.
• Experience driving documentation quality standards, content governance, or large-scale documentation initiatives.
• Ability to work strategically while remaining hands-on with content creation and editing.
• Strong collaborative mindset with experience working across multidisciplinary teams.
• Background in technical writing, developer documentation, or software development preferred.
• Familiarity with Confluence, Git, games, or game engines is a bonus.
