About Horse Powertrain

This role is employed by Aurobay Technologies, Sweden, a division of Horse Powertrain Limited and is based in Sweden. Horse Powertrain Limited is an independent new powertrain solutions business, with over 125 years of heritage from Renault and Geely. We develop and produce world-class hybrid and combustion engines and transmissions to move our industry forward, offering many different paths to net zero. Horse Powertrain has 19,000 dedicated and determined employees, working in 18 manufacturing plants, and 5 R&D centers on three continents.

Why join us?

At Horse Powertrain, you’ll have opportunities to grow your career while making a difference. This is a dynamic, international environment, staffed by caring and collaborative people. If you’re ready to create excellence with us, you’ll be appreciated and rewarded. Within the Control & Diagnostics section, we are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a group of Calibration Leaders—technical project leaders responsible for cross-functional projects within Control & Diagnostics. In this role, you will provide line management, set priorities, support resource planning, and enable the team to deliver high-quality projects. If you combine strong people leadership with an understanding of technical project management and cross- functional collaboration, and want to contribute to the wider success of the organization, this could be the role for you.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have:

• Proven people-leadership experience, including direct line-management responsibility

• Experience in technical project management and cross-functional collaboration

• Experience in control systems, preferably including function development and calibration

• A structured and results-oriented approach to planning and execution, including deliverables, milestone reviews, resource planning, and budget follow-up

• Sound business judgment and the ability to balance technical priorities with cost, timing, and organizational needs

• A university degree in a relevant technical field, or equivalent professional experience

Your role at Horse Powertrain

As an Engineering Manager, you will:

• Be an active member of the section’s leadership team and coordinate the group’s deliverables with close collaboration of the other groups across the section

• Support the Calibration Leaders with prioritization and resource estimates, and guide them in their daily work within the project teams

• Support your employees in their professional development

• Interview and recruit team members as needed

Let's explore the possibilities together.

We can’t wait to see what you can bring to our team!
