The Treasury Assistant supports the daily treasury operations of DSV RSSC Cluster Nordics & Baltics by ensuring efficient cash management, banking administration, treasury reporting, and operational support across the Cluster. The role works closely with other RCCS functions, Group Treasury, Treasury Back Office, Accounting Services, banks, and local finance teams to support liquidity management, payment processes, intercompany funding activities, and treasury system administration
Key Responsibilities
Cash Management & Banking
- Support daily cash management and liquidity monitoring activities.
- Assist with intercompany cash requests and funding transactions.
- Prepare and process treasury-related payments and banking transactions.
- Support bank account opening, closing, and maintenance activities.
- Maintain bank mandates, authorized signatory records, and banking documentation.
- Liaise with banking partners and internal stakeholders regarding treasury-related matters.
Treasury Operations
- Support the administration and maintenance of SAP Treasury and related treasury systems.
- Maintain treasury master data and banking records.
- Support intercompany funding and in-house banking (IHB) processes.
- Ensure treasury transactions are accurately recorded and documented.
Reconciliation & Reporting
- Assist with month-end and year-end treasury reporting activities.
- Support liquidity, cash flow, and treasury management reporting.
- Prepare documentation and supporting schedules for audits and internal reviews.
- Assist in maintaining accurate treasury records and reporting files
Governance & Process Improvement
- Ensure compliance with DSV Treasury Policy, internal controls, and banking procedures.
- Follow established treasury processes and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist with treasury-related projects, system enhancements, and automation activities.
- Maintain a strong focus on accuracy, efficiency, and risk awareness in all treasury activities.
Qualifications
Education
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Some experience in Treasury, Finance, Accounting, Banking, or Cash Management.
- Experience working with ERP systems; SAP experience is considered an advantage.
- Exposure to multinational or shared service centre environments is desirable.
Technical Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with banking platforms and treasury systems is an advantage.
- Understanding of cash management, bank reconciliations, and financial processes.
- Ability to work with large volumes of financial data accurately.
- English, any other Nordic language is an advantage
