Documentation Engineer

Briljantin Consulting is looking for an experienced Documentation Engineer for a long-term consulting assignment with an international technology company.

This is an opportunity to take on a key role in a technically advanced environment where quality, compliance and well-structured documentation are essential parts of every customer delivery.

As a Documentation Engineer, you will take ownership of the complete customer documentation and turnover package – coordinating input from different parts of the organization, ensuring compliance and quality, and delivering accurate and complete documentation to customers.

You will work closely with engineering, project management, manufacturing and customers throughout the documentation process.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing, compiling and maintaining complete technical documentation and customer turnover packages.

• Ensuring documentation is compliant with GMP and Good Documentation Practice (GDocP).

• Coordinating and expediting documentation from factories, suppliers and other stakeholders.

• Working closely with Design, Automation and Electrical Engineers, Project Managers and Product Owners.

• Cooperating directly with customers regarding documentation requirements and deliverables.

• Reviewing documentation to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency and compliance.

• Managing and distributing finalized documentation packages to customers.

• Ensuring documentation is correctly uploaded, structured and maintained in PIMS, AIDA or similar electronic document management systems.

• Handling sensitive and controlled information in a secure and responsible manner.

We are looking for someone who combines technical understanding with a strong sense of structure and quality.

You have experience working with technical or quality documentation in an engineering environment and understand the importance of traceability, compliance and accurate documentation throughout a project.

Experience from regulated industries such as pharmaceutical, food, life science or similar technical environments is highly valuable.

We believe you have:

• Experience in technical and/or quality documentation.

• Knowledge of GMP/GDocP and regulated documentation processes.

• Experience with PIMS, AIDA or comparable document management systems is an advantage.

• Understanding of equipment design, manufacturing processes and engineering workflows.

• Excellent attention to detail and a structured way of working.

• Strong time-management skills and the ability to work towards project milestones and deadlines.

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across different technical disciplines and functions.

• A proactive approach to identifying and resolving gaps or inconsistencies in documentation.

• A strong customer focus and an understanding of both internal and external stakeholder requirements.

You enjoy taking ownership and creating structure in complex technical projects. You are comfortable following up with multiple stakeholders and making sure that documentation is delivered on time and to the required quality.

You communicate confidently with engineers, project managers and customers and are not afraid to ask questions, challenge inconsistencies or follow up when information is missing.

Most importantly, you understand that good technical documentation is part of the product and the customer delivery – not simply an administrative task.
