Digitalization Project Manager for Manufacturing

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Digitalization Project Manager for Manufacturing, you will spend your day balancing strategic project leadership with hands-on technical implementation at the Finspang production site. You will work closely with production teams, AM engineers, site management, and global digitalization stakeholders to drive digital transformation initiatives that support production ramp-up and cost optimization. A key part of your role will be developing and executing a local digitalization roadmap while leading the implementation of critical shopfloor systems such as MES and SCADA. Your expertise will help bridge local operational needs with global strategies while building long-term digital capabilities within the manufacturing organization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Lead end-to-end digitalization projects, ensuring delivery against budget, schedule, and quality objectives
• Develop and execute a site-specific digitalization roadmap aligned with business priorities and global strategies
• Define project scopes, deliverables, and success metrics in collaboration with engineering teams and key stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide clear status reporting to leadership and stakeholders
• Drive the implementation of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and SCADA capabilities within the Additive Manufacturing environment
• Analyze manufacturing workflows and implement digitalization, automation, and process improvement opportunities

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing Technology, or a related technical field
• Significant experience in project management within manufacturing, production, industrial engineering, or industrial digitalization environments
• Proven success in leading digital transformation, process improvement, automation, MES, SCADA, or other shopfloor IT system implementation projects
• Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing processes, smart factory technologies, workflow management, process development, and Lean Manufacturing principles
• Experience in Additive Manufacturing, advanced production technologies, or Industry 4.0 environments considered a strong advantage
• Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, analytical, troubleshooting, and change management skills with the ability to build organizational capabilities and drive business impact

About the Team Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
