Developer Platform Engineer

We are looking for an Senior Developer Platform Engineer for our our client in the automotive industry.

Job description:

In this role you will:

• Create reusable, extensible, and secure solutions that integrate seamlessly into engineering workflows

• Make the Golden Path the easiest path for our colleagues

• Experiment and build with AI (LLMs, agents, MCP) to rethink how software is built in our client and how it can help in the software development process of the future

• Partner closely with teams to understand pain points and how to eliminate them

• Continuously evolve the existing solutions based on real usage and feedback

• Raise the bar for developer experience across the organization

• Strong DevSecOps fundamentals and mindset

• Knowledge about AI and how it changes software development process

Experience required:

Min 5 years of;

• Kubernetes or OpenShift (deployments, manifests, core resources)

• Cloud platforms (Azure)

• CI/CD systems (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions)

• Automation and scripting (Bash, PowerShell)

• Software engineering background (Python, TypeScript, React).

• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker)

• Solid understanding of Git-based workflows and modern collaboration practices

• Deep understanding of DevSecOps and secure-by-design principles

• Experience or strong conceptual understanding of AI and its usage in software development

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)

• Experience with Backstage or Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs)

• Plus if you have experience from working with DevSecOps within the automotive industry.
