Application Support Engineer

You will join an SRE team working close to business-critical connected vehicle services in a complex 24x7 environment. In this role, you help keep services stable, available and well understood when issues arise. A large part of your work is driven by incoming support tickets and operational events, where you investigate what happened, assess impact and help move incidents forward in the right direction.

You will work in an environment where many services and dependencies interact, so it is important that you enjoy building a clear picture from logs, monitoring and observability data. You will also collaborate closely with DevOps teams when deeper technical investigation or changes are needed. If you like troubleshooting, fast learning and understanding how modern cloud-based services behave in production, this is a role where your work will have visible impact every day.

• You will investigate support tickets and operational events in a business-critical 24x7 service environment.
• You will use logs, monitoring and observability data to identify issues, understand root causes and assess which services are affected.
• You will handle incidents together with the team and help drive them toward resolution.
• You will collaborate with DevOps teams when deeper investigation or technical changes are required.
• You will build understanding of complex service flows and dependencies across multiple systems.
• You will contribute to structured ways of working within Incident Management and Problem Management.
• You will take part in the team’s on-call rotation.

• Experience working with business-critical 24x7 services.
• Experience troubleshooting applications or services using logs, monitoring and observability data.
• Experience with Incident Management and Problem Management processes.
• Good technical understanding of modern software and cloud-based services.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Fluent English, spoken and written.
• You are comfortable working in a reactive operational environment and enjoy troubleshooting and problem solving.
• You are analytical, curious and structured, and you like understanding complex systems and service dependencies.

• Experience from application support, SRE, technical operations, DevOps or similar roles.
• Experience working with cloud environments.
• Experience supporting complex systems involving multiple services and dependencies.
• Experience working in Agile organizations.
